Terms of Use

This is a corporate and technical information site published by a manufacturer of prescription-only medicines for export. It is addressed to healthcare professionals, licensed pharmaceutical distributors and importers, procurement and regulatory bodies, and other trade counterparties.

It is not a patient information service, not a pharmacy, and not a route to obtain medicines. Nothing on it may be used as a substitute for consulting a qualified healthcare professional. See the Medical & Legal Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Product monographs, specifications, pack presentations and any indicative capacities or lead times published here are provided for information. They are an invitation to make an enquiry, not an offer capable of acceptance, and no contract arises from anything on this site.

Supply takes place only under a separate written agreement, and only where the buyer holds the licences, import permissions and marketing authorisations that the destination country requires. All products are designated for export only. Nothing on this site is an offer, promotion or solicitation to supply a medicine in any country where doing so would be unlawful, or where the product is not registered.

We take care that the information published here is correct at the time of publication, but specifications, presentations, availability and regulatory status change. Figures given for capacities, throughput, timings and similar operational parameters are illustrative.

Where a product is registered in a destination country, the approved local labelling and product information issued for that market is the authoritative text and prevails over anything published here. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of this site at any time without notice.

The verification page lets you check a code printed on a carton against our batch records. It is offered as an aid to authenticity checking and is provided as-is.

A confirmed result indicates that the code matches a record we hold. It is not a certificate of a pack's condition, of correct storage and transport, of remaining shelf life, or of the legality of the channel through which the pack reached you. A code that does not match is not by itself proof of falsification, but it should be treated as a reason to stop and report. See the Disclaimer for what to do next.

You may read, print and share the pages of this site for legitimate professional purposes, provided you do not alter them and you keep the source visible. The following are not permitted.

The content, layout, design system, artwork, product monographs and marks appearing on this site are the property of Ergopharm or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trade-mark law. Nothing here grants a licence to use the Ergopharm name, marks or pack designs.

Standards, pharmacopoeial texts and regulatory instruments referred to on this site — pharmacopoeial monographs, ICH and GS1 documents, and legislation — remain the property of the bodies that publish them and are cited generically for reference.

The site is provided on an as-available basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access, and we may take it down for maintenance. We are not responsible for the availability or content of any external site that a link may lead to, and a link does not imply endorsement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ergopharm is not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, information published on this site, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from a decision taken on the basis of information that this site expressly describes as illustrative.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects any statutory right or remedy relating to a medicinal product, or any obligation of Ergopharm as a manufacturer.

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from the use of this site are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Vadodara, Gujarat have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory right you may have to bring proceedings in the country of your residence.

You are responsible for complying with the laws of the country from which you access this site. We make no representation that the material published here is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction.

We may revise these terms. The revision stamp at the head of this page shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of it.
