Anastrozole
A non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor, one milligram.
Anastrozole is a non-steroidal triazole that reversibly inhibits aromatase — the enzyme that converts androgens into estrogens. Blocking that final step lowers circulating estrogen, the basis for its use in estrogen-dependent conditions and for controlling estrogenic effects during androgen therapy, always under a physician's direction.
It is presented as a 1 mg film-coated tablet, compressed and coated under controlled humidity and packed fifty to a serialised carton. Because the dose is only a milligram, content uniformity is verified on every batch; the pack carries a GS1 DataMatrix and its own verification code.
