Yohimbine Hydrochloride
An α2-adrenoceptor antagonist alkaloid.
Yohimbine is an indole alkaloid and selective α2-adrenoceptor antagonist. By blocking presynaptic α2 receptors it increases sympathetic (noradrenergic) outflow — the pharmacology behind its historical use as an adjunct in erectile dysfunction, under a physician's direction.
Each 10 mg tablet is compressed from a uniform blend and release-tested for content and dissolution. A hundred tablets to a serialised carton in a desiccant-protected bottle with a child-resistant closure and on-pack verification code.
